Description

We are piloting new ways to support community artists with our brand new program - Creative Essentials.

Arts Connection members and affiliated artists on our Cre8 and WCAN forums have chosen which skills they want to
develop. We will visit Wrexham, Llanfyllin, Machynlleth, Newtown and Welshpool to deliver 5 full day community artist training days on SOCIAL MEDIA, PHOTOGRAPHY, SCREEN PRINTING and 2x FUNDRAISING between October 2016 and March 2017.

So, without further ado, welcome to our second session!

***SOCIAL MEDIA***

Saturday 12th of November in Welshpool at COWSHACC

You might be using Social Media as a marketing tool already but do you get the most out of it without spending too
much time? We will explore Instagram, Facebook and Twitter in this highly engaging and interactive workshop. Learn how to create appropriate profiles and pages, write compelling content, plan posts for maximum reach, grow your
audience and sales, learn from analytic tools and more. Get yourself noticed!

We also want to encourage you to network and connect with other artists. Please, bring (or email Nina) 2 photos to share. After an initial ice breaker, everybody will give a 2min presentation about themselves and their art, craft, work or passion.

Our trainer Teresa Carnall is a professional marketing practitioner and owner of TBC Marketing delivering a totally hands on approach to marketing, online marketing and social media. She has taught around 2000 people including crafters and artists and believes that an artist is selling part of their soul when they sell their work and that is something that definitely needs to be taken into account. Get more people talking about your business, gain more clients and increase turnover! Read Teresa's testimonials below. http://www.tbcmarketing.co.uk/

Make sure to bring your laptop or tablet, the venue has great Wi-Fi and the course will be very hands on and interactive. We have three laptops that can be borrowed on the day if you don't have your own.

A vegetarian lunch buffet will be provided free of charge. Tea, Coffee and Water will be available throughout the day. Creative Essentials is about sharing and connecting and food works wonderfully...
